Dortmund. On 1 November 2008, a new social networking site for New Apostolic young people will start up at www.nacworld.net. Whether it’s StudiVZ, Facebook, MySpace, or XING, social networks are definitely “in”. Young people in particular enjoy making contacts and communicating with friends over the internet. From today on there is a new “contact portal” for young people of the New Apostolic Church and their friends that goes by the name of “nacworld”. It enables users to create a profile page, add other users as contacts, maintain a blog, incorporate their interests, build groups, and leave guest comments on the profile pages of other contacts. Users can also keep track of the activities of the contacts in their group.

Development on the “nacworld” site will continue into the future. Current plans include the creation of photo galleries and even a chat room. But there is one expansion that has the highest priority, and that is to make “nacworld” available to users in other languages.
