nac.today is the official news portal of the New Apostolic Church International. It informs members and interested parties around the world about current events, projects, and developments within the New Apostolic Church. The content is available in several languages ​​and is aimed at a global audience. Articles, images, and videos provide insights into the life and activity of the Church on all continents.
The international news portal is operated and maintained by Friedrich Bischoff Verlag.

The nac.today team is looking for a freelance Content Editor (remote).

Your tasks will include:

  • researching, writing, and editing reports, interviews, news articles, and literature in other formats for our online media
  • maintaining and expanding a global network of authors, photographers, and contacts in the Regional Churches
  • operating and further developing the nac.today website and its social media channels
  • coordinating editorial processes from planning to translations to publication

Your profile:

  • completed journalistic training or comparable training
  • ideally, professional experience in an online editorial department
  • strength in topic management, strong text skills
  • high level of commitment, teamwork, and communication skills
  • a good knowledge of New Apostolic doctrine and Church environment
  • experience in multimedia content preparation
  • confident use of common office software and creative software
  • experience in content planning and creation for social media
  • Fluency in English with exceptional written and spoken skills (C1 level or above)
