Listen to it

Everyone has a smartphone nowadays. And that means that all things Church related are right within reach too: want to stay up to date? Feel like browsing through the Catechism? Need to find a congregation? Well, there are apps for this and more—an overview of the official apps on offer.

NAC News

The application known as “NAC News” is currently being updated and will soon be available in a new version as nacnews. In clear and concise terms it displays news from the New Apostolic Church International, the various District Churches, as well as aid organizations. The future push function will provide users with information on new developments even more quickly than before.

nacmaps

On the way to church? With nacmaps you will always be able to find the nearest church. The downloadable app previously known as “NAC mobile” will also be updated and will soon be released with new functionality.

Catechism

This application contains the long version of the Catechism of the New Apostolic Church. With bookmarks, expanded searches, and Bible passage display, the app is just as well suited for occasional reading as for intensive study of the contents.

NAC USA

This app offers short video clips with excerpts from sermons by Chief Apostle Schneider and District Apostle Kolb (USA). Beyond that, it provides doctrinal content, the Word of the Month, the Vision newsletter, and lots of other information from the District Church.

NAC O-Box

In the District Church of Northern Germany, you can transfer your offerings online. In addition to online transfers, the O-Box provides yet another way to offer. Upon request, the app will remind users about their offerings at regular intervals. Transfers by way of O-Box are directed exclusively to the District Church of Northern Germany.

NAC Choir book

NAC Hymnal

The German-language hymnal of the New Apostolic Church as an app for choir members, choir leaders, and ministers—for reference and text searches.

Other apps

Beyond that, there are also apps with a more local focus. These offers are free of charge and are not published through the Church, but rather on a private basis:

  • Congregation of Bochum-Gerthe: GermaniOSAndroid
  • Congregation of Fellbach: GermaniOSAndroid
  • Congregation of Portage, USA: English iOSAndroid
  • Congregation of Schwalmstadt-Treysa: German iOSAndroid
  • JUGI Mittelland, Switzerland: German iOSAndroid

And last but not least there are occasionally apps that refer to specific events. In the past, these included the “ICC Guide” and “NAC You&Me” for the International Church Convention 2014 or the “NAC Search“ on the occasion of the “Ruhr 2010 Action Day”. Thus it will also be worthwhile to browse through the app store from time to time in the future as well.
