With its latest edition, the Church magazine “community” begins its sixth year of publication. The top subjects this time around include “What truly makes free” — “What God really wants” — and “When Christ will return”.

The motto for the year 2019 has exposed a true vein of gold: the annual watchword “Rich in Christ” has inspired many valuable thoughts. Here are some highlights from Spotlights as we bid farewell to the old year.

The trip began at the International Date Line: Samoa and American Samoa are separated by a 24-hour time difference, even though they are located in the same island archipelago. From there, the journey continued onward to the islands of Fiji.

Since its founding in the year 1997, Stichting Corantijn, the relief agency of the New Apostolic Church in the Netherlands, has been providing charitable aid to Suriname. For a few years now, it has been receiving some support from the Church aid organisation, NAK-karitativ.
