Perceivable, sensitive and understanding, able to inspire people for the Lord, and willing to serve the congregations. This is what Apostles around the world are like.

Known for his fiery sermons: Apostle (ret.) Emmanuel Wuaku dies

Zeal for God, a big heart for his brothers and sisters, and fiery sermons, this is what Apostle Emmanuel Wuaku of Togo was known for, District Apostle Koberstein says, who is responsible for Burkina Faso. Apostle Wuaku passed away last Friday following a stay in hospital.

Emmanuel Wuaku was born on 20 September 1942 in Ghana. Between July 1978 to October 1987 he carried various priestly ministries before he was ordained an Apostle on 31 October 1987 for Burkina Faso. He retired in May 2008. Only several weeks ago the Apostle moved from Burkina Faso to Togo.

Tomorrow, Saturday, 25 November 2017, Apostle Benoît Komlan Abalo will conduct the funeral in our central church in Lomé in Togo. Many brothers and sisters are expected to attend. Apostle Wuaku is survived by his wife and son. “May our heavenly Father grant them much comfort, strength, and confidence in this difficult time of parting,” Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider writes.

Fighter for Jesus Christ: Apostle Dieter Prause retires

After 42 years in the ministry, Dieter Prause went into retirement this past Sunday, 19 November 2017, during a divine service in Backnang (Germany) celebrated by Chief Apostle Schneider. Apostle Prause is 66 years old and was active in the districts of Heilbronn and Nuremberg in Germany as well as in Ukraine.

Apostle Prause is a very sensitive and compassionate pastor, the Chief Apostle said in his address. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of the congregation that you supported the members so much, so often, and so intensively and shared their suffering. You could have had an easier life. But you wanted to support the brothers and sisters out of love and share their sorrows.” The Chief Apostle also mentioned how well they worked together. The Apostle was on several committees in Southern Germany and on the international level. For example, he was involved in compiling the Catechism, it says on the website of the New Apostolic Church Southern Germany.

Ambassador in Christ’s stead: Apostle Manfred Schönenborn ordained

“Come, I will help you! I will not only show you and tell you what you have to do, but I will be an example you can follow and lead the way on the path that leads to Jesus Christ, to God.” This is how Chief Apostle Schneider described the tasks awaiting Manfred Schönenborn as an Apostle. He will succeed Apostle (ret.) Prause in the districts of Heilbronn and Nuremberg.

“Come, I love you!” An Apostle cannot help but proclaim this message of love. “An Apostle of Jesus Christ has to make sure that every person hears this message, irrespective of who they are or where they, the Chief Apostle said: “Come, I love you!”
