Listen to it

A reliable range of video services has accompanied the faithful since the beginning of the pandemic. The changes in the weekly overview are becoming fewer and fewer. Here is this week’s list of countries, languages, and links.

Week after week the churches across the globe broadcast centrally conducted video services. There are fewer and fewer changes: a change from weekly to bi-weekly maybe or changed access data, etc. nac.today provides a weekly overview of the divine services being streamed on Sunday. The Church continues to offer online services in all District Apostle Areas.

Online and in-person services in one’s home congregation

These nationwide services are supplemented by regional and local online services organised by the church districts and congregations. These local offers enable church members to connect to their home congregation. And the churches use many means of broadcasting: telephone, IPTV, YouTube and, in some countries, radio stations and television channels.

In-person services vary from region to region on account of the very different developments in the COVID situation. In many countries there is a continuous rise and fall of cases over weeks, and whether in-person services can be offered in a certain region depends on a number of factors. The local Church offices provide detailed and up-to-date information on their websites and social media profiles. Information and answers are also provided by the local congregations.
