Apostle John Leslie Kriel has been appointed as a District Apostle Helper for the Cape district. Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider commissioned John Kriel, a longstanding minister, in a divine service this past Sunday.

The Chief Apostle visited the brothers and sisters in South Africa from 10 to 13 December 2015. On Sunday, 13 December, he celebrated a divine service in our Tafelsig church, where a congregation of some 3,000 brothers and sisters had gathered. Many tens of thousands more in the Cape district received a transmission over the NACTV network in their congregations.

Before the Chief Apostle appointed the new District Apostle Helper, he placed Apostle Brian Ernest de Vries into retirement ordained Peter Lambert and Robert Ernest Worship as Apostles—as announced.

A report on the divine service and a video of the ordination will follow shortly.
