As of 1 January 2015, Bishops have been ordained by the responsible District Apostle — with the approval of the Chief Apostle. During his second trip to Angola this year, District Apostle Rainer Storck from North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) ordained no less than six new Bishops in Luanda! This means that there are now seventeen Apostles and fourteen Bishops working in the West African country. Over 1,600 participants enjoyed the sermon. It had previously been a tradition in the New Apostolic Church for the incumbent Chief Apostle to ordain both Apostles and Bishops. In consultation with the District Apostles, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider changed this practice effective 1 January 2015: henceforward, the Chief Apostle delegates the ordination and retirement of Bishops to the responsible District Apostle, in principle.

El Salvador
At the start of May, leaders from a number of Spanish-speaking New Apostolic District Churches assembled in Central America. A total of 20 representatives from eleven countries met up in El Salvador for a conference. They discussed doctrinal subjects such as forgiveness of sins and the pastoral care concept of "Serving and Leading". In addition there was a music workshop which dealt with the significance of music in divine service, choral techniques, and the worship of God through music. On Saturday evening there was a devotional in which many of the music techniques that had previously been discussed in the workshop were put into practice. The closing divine service took place on Sunday morning.

Germany
The young people in Oberhausen, Germany are looking forward to Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider's visit to conduct the Ascension Day divine service. It is there that this year's Day of the Youth will take place, and all young New Apostolic Christians up to the age of 30, along with their friends and youth leaders, have been invited. The music for the divine service will be performed by the youth concert choir. In the afternoon the young people will explore the subject of protecting the creation: in line with the theme "The footprints of Christ", each of the participants is to ask the question of what sort of footprint he or she is leaving behind on this earth — both on those around them and on the environment. The young people will be given the opportunity to make a contribution in order to mitigate the CO2 footprint of the Youth Day. The idea is that this will create a lasting memory of the event.
