A colourful mix of languages, as diverse as life in the New Apostolic Church: this is the new newsfeed on nac.today—a window into the world of our brothers and sisters around the globe.
Argentina, Croatia, the Philippines: the first reports on the news channel come from these countries—at least at the time the article was written. Next up are Western Germany, Southern Germany, and Southern Africa. But this can change at any time.
Directly from the Regional Churches
This is because what is displayed here is the latest news from the websites of the District Apostle Areas and Regional Churches: a concert by a youth choir in a public square in the heart of the city, development aid for farmers, and a preview of the upcoming 2026 Pentecost Festivities—to name just a few examples.
The messages are presented in two places in two different ways. On the nac.today homepage, there is a green banner with the title “News from our NAC partners around the globe”. The latest four news items are displayed there. Clicking “See all articles” opens the main page. Posts can also be filtered by country.
News: fresh and in one place
The news items displayed are provided by the websites of the District Apostle Areas and Regional Churches in a standardised format: an RSS feed. This is a structured list of updates from individual websites, each accompanied by a brief description and a link to the source. These feeds can be subscribed to in feed readers or further processed in news aggregators. RSS (Really Simple Syndication) has been in use since the early 2000s and is now, for example, a key component of podcasts.
The original version of nac.today, launched at the beginning of 2015, already provided a news feed featuring updates from across the New Apostolic world. The revamped version of the New Apostolic Church International’s news portal, launched in the fall of 2025, now goes one step further: the news aggregator provides not only text and links, but also images.
District Apostle Areas or Regional Churches wishing to join the global news network are invited to contact the editorial team at [email protected].
