“It’s time to do good.” This is the motto the New Apostolic Church issued for 2025.  The Chief Apostle talks about it in detail in his annual New Year’s address, which has just been recorded. Here is a sneak preview with the co-star.

The jury of the creative art competition received a whole gallery of artworks for its annual motto contest. Over two hundred artworks on the theme “Prayer works” were created by children and young people from the Regional Church India. Among the two hundred submissions received, it was not easy to choose a winner.

Many youth events and children’s services over the past few weeks focused on our annual motto. Through play or in workshops, the young generation all over the world is learning that prayer works.

Prayer works! The year may have progressed significantly, but the annual motto for 2024 remains current. Children learned more about it, young people studied and discussed it, and musicians—from Poland, France, Romania, Italy, and South Africa, for example—even put the motto to music.

The Lord’s Prayer contains so many thoughts that there is not enough time to cover them all in a single divine service. The Chief Apostle gave some tips for faith in daily life in a divine service in Angola, and in so doing shed some new light on a well-known part of the service.

Brothers and sisters from South Africa, Namibia, and Germany set off on exciting journeys to learn more about the Bible. One journey was about praying, another one about a competition, and two were about wine.

As District Apostle of the huge working area of South-East Asia, Edy Isnugroho has experienced a lot. In his article on our annual motto, he relates personal experiences to explain how intensive prayers work.

How are things coming along with our annual motto “Prayer works”? A short poll on Instagram showed up 900 ideas on the topic of “prayer”. In the first part, we will look at the feeling of being close to God in prayer.

The new issue of community is online. There are print and digital versions of the magazine in a number of languages. Featured are insights into the management of the Church, church life worldwide, and the teaching—for young and old.

Already as a young Priest, District Apostle Woll from Canada learned that prayer affects our faith. He says that as a child of God we can share all our feelings with God, and that this strengthens our faith.

Giving others the feeling that they are welcome, getting to know each other better, enjoying one another’s company, and participating: these are the stages of togetherness that New Apostolic young people practise. Here are examples from Europe and Africa.
