Why do we need the Apostle ministry today? Where does it come from? And where does it take us? Such questions were asked and answered in a panel discussion at the 2019 International Youth Convention. Here is part 1 of the new video series.

If is often said that young people are the future of the Church. Yet not only they but everyone can contribute to the future of our Church. Whether with ideas, with a ministerial mandate, or with a smile to create a congregation in which everyone feels welcome.

With over 1.7 million Swiss francs you can do a lot of good, such as putting a smile on someone’s face, creating social inclusion, or providing help in times of great need. In 2023 too, NAK-Humanitas, the charity of the New Apostolic Church Switzerland, once again used the donated funds in the spirit of Christian charity.

People always have a great many wishes and needs. But which of these should we pursue and which ones should we abandon? The Chief Apostle had some clear words to offer on this subject in a recent divine service. And what is the standard here? Love for God and our fellow human beings.

He was a man of action and a father figure for his small flock in Europe and his large flock in Africa. This was District Apostle Robert Higelin. On 17 July he would have celebrated his ninetieth birthday. Here is a portrait.

The 14th of July is something of an apostolic holy day. But its history contains some surprises. And as it commemorates the event this year, the New Apostolic Church takes a rather special perspective.

The Sunday services in July will focus on very typical New Apostolic subjects: our concept of the departed, the Apostle ministry, and rebirth out of water and the Spirit. But there will also be some surprises.

What is an Apostle? What is apostolic? And why is this important for all Christian churches? This is a question raised by a feast celebrated by Anglicans, Catholics, Orthodox Christians, and Protestants on 11 June, the Feast of Barnabas.

A lot of people celebrated a lot of memorable anniversaries in recent weeks. Among them, one of our brothers in faith, a choir, a number of congregations, a Regional Church, and even the church as a whole! And all of them celebrated around the same time. We offer our sincere congratulations!

Some 125 years ago, Chief Apostle Friedrich Krebs ordained two men as Apostles who had already served the still young Church admirably. In addition to the ministry, the two men had things in common that still have an impact today.

God has entrusted His people with precious treasures. We must preserve them, also for those who come after us. It sounds like a huge task. But don’t worry, the Holy Spirit will help us.

“Leave Jerusalem,” the Chief Apostle urged the congregation. ‌Shifting one’s perspective and actively seeking eternal life was the focus of a recent divine service in Rwanda.

He would have been eighty years old today. District Apostle Alfons Tansahtikno did a lot of good in the district of Indonesia and was able to spread the faith, braving difficult conditions.
