Everything is ready: the preparations in the conference room were completed yesterday. Today the International District Apostle Meeting will convene here. Discussions will be conducted primarily in English, but also in Spanish and German.

It is a beautiful picture: Jesus is sitting at the table with His disciples and passes the cup to His neighbour, who passes it on to his neighbour, and so on until all have drunk from it. For District Apostle Mark Woll from Canada this is a concrete idea that is connected to our motto for 2022.

“I have never enjoyed going to school on a Saturday that much.” This is how Chief Apostle Schneider said goodbye to the congregation of Ho in Ghana, where he had conducted a divine service in the assembly hall of Mawuli School.

It was to be specifically for young people. That was the idea that District Apostle Norberto Batista announced in 2007 when he decided to launch a magazine for his working area. And it is still produced for the youth, every month anew.

Empathy is more than pity. It shows interest in the neighbour, supports actively, and connects people. This is the conviction of District Apostle Kolb (USA). He describes four levels of empathy in his article.
