As Christians we cannot agree with the state of the world. But there is hope for a better future. ‌And this is something we can demonstrate, the Chief Apostle says.

Whether under mango trees or in a large church, God dwells among the people. He lives in their hearts and in His congregation. The Chief Apostle recently gave a tour of this dwelling place.

Many have genuine concerns when it comes to mixing preaching and science. But it is worth taking a closer look. Because homiletics is not as foreign as it sounds. Here is the part one of a series. 

It is the most topical aspect of our annual motto. And it can be explained by all kinds of weather. Here is an entire divine service about a tiny little word.

God’s mercy is often cited and extolled, but how does this divine attribute manifest itself? And how do we respond to it? This is what the five Sunday services in March will explore.

The New Apostolic faith is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. There is nothing unclear about that.  But what exactly is the teaching of Jesus? The Chief Apostle names seven aspects and invites us to test ourselves.

“It’s time to do good!” Our 2025 motto is far more than a moral appeal. It can only really be understood if we look ahead to the return of Christ. The Chief Apostle explained it this way.

Abandon loved ones? While some go to heaven, others must deal with the great tribulation? The Chief Apostle explains how this is to be understood correctly.

Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider ended the liturgical year 2024 with an urgent appeal: “Come, Lord Jesus!” In the year-end service, He focused on this important prayer. 

The country is known for its diversity. On the third weekend in February, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider will travel to Colombia for two divine services.

When rituals encounter reforms: the new Liturgy of the New Apostolic Church is now also available in Spanish—following English, French, and German. This may not be a revolution, but it certainly is a very pleasing development.

How much longer? This is the sigh of people experiencing great distress or empathising with the hardship of others. Jesus Christ Himself provides the answer.

Does God have favourites? This is the question that arises in connection with the Bible text that our 2025 motto is based on. The answer can be found when we look ahead to the return of Christ. Here is the last video from the divine service to marking the beginning of the year.

The common denominator of the Sunday services in February is the subject of devotion and its various aspects: how God devotes Himself to us, how we devote ourselves to God, and how we treat our fellow human beings.

What does it mean to be a citizen of heaven? The Chief Apostle put the focus on eternal fellowship with God and the return of Jesus Christ. A path that leads to perfection and culminates in ministering to others.

It is so much more than just being kind to one another. Following is what our annual motto “It’s time to do good” means for our coexistence with our fellow human beings.

Have the last days dawned?  Yes, no, maybe … Well, it doesn’t matter. Because there is no point in trying to interpret the signs of the times. What counts is that we move forward. We must look up and get up.
