They cultivate fellowship, but not only among themselves: the International Sisters’ Fellowship, comprised of New Apostolic women from Zambia, Malawi, and Zimbabwe, is an example of the role women take in church and society in this part of Africa.

The organ starts to play, the Priest walks to the front, and steps behind the altar. The altar is built on a platform, behind which the cross has been mounted. The altar is the place where God is worshipped, where we remember the sacrifice of Jesus, and where the minister stands to preach. The altar is also referred to as mensa domini, the table of the Lord.

Sunday is there for Christians; but so is Monday. Everybody can sing religious songs, but applying them in everyday life is a different matter entirely. Being a Christian is a twenty-four-seven challenge.
