The ministers of the New Apostolic Church receive a copy of the Divine Service Guide, a publication in which the Chief Apostle provides thoughts for the sermons. In many District Churches this occurs on a monthly basis. Some countries, however, receive a yearbook, which contains a whole year’s worth of articles. In the month of April our sermons focus on the Lord’s Prayer—at least in those parts of the world where the monthly Divine Service Guide is used.

Confirmation in the Cape district is always a big affair—in more ways than one. Alone the sheer number of young Christians who make their vow is amazing and then there are often big celebrations that take place afterwards.

It is time for confirmation services. Between Easter and Pentecost adolescents around the world step before the altar and profess their belief in God. The congregations take a keen interest. Following is a look at the District Church of Canada.

The first official meeting between the leaders of the New Apostolic Church Cape and the United Apostolic Church of South Africa took place in early February 2016. The discussions took place in a cordial and friendly atmosphere.
