The first Sunday in June will take the Chief Apostle to Moscow, the Russian capital. Far removed from day-to-day political events, the leader of the New Apostolic Church International wants to touch and reach the congregations in the country with the good news of salvation in Christ.

A blood donor clinic with a view of organ pipes, birth registration in front of the altar, and meals under the emblem … Typically, church buildings are sacred places, but sometimes they also open their doors for a good cause to serve the broader community.

How did the Pentecost service get to the various congregations? In very different ways. And some, like the Democratic Republic of Congo, made a celebration of their own out of it.
