Ascension and Pentecost are two important Christian holy days that are celebrated in May. May is both a month of contemplation and boundless joy. And the reason for this is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer.

The name of the city the Chief Apostle will visit this coming Sunday is Livingstone: the cradle of the New Apostolic Church in Zambia. It was here, ninety years ago, that the Church was established. Following is the story of a District Church with a fascinating history.

Karl the Great is what many called him affectionately: today, 25 years to the day, one of the most influential District Apostles passed away. He did not only leave the New Apostolic Church with a historic self-image, but also with a few cultural peculiarities.

Riveting, entertaining, and of an exceptional standard: these superlatives best describe the 2017 Pentecost concert in Vienna. The concert in the unique ambience of the Wiener Konzerthaus was not only a feast for the ears.

The stalls, the boxes, the lower and upper galleries … the Vienna Concert Hall was filled to the last seat. “We invite you to have an encounter with Jesus through music,” Franz Jochum, the musical director and conductor, said to the audience at the beginning of the concert.

What would the Christian church be without the Spirit? She would be spiritless. But for Christians God is triune: He is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit at the same time. Therefore, His church is not spiritless. In June, our New Apostolic services will focus on the Holy Spirit.
