A man of great faith
This past Sunday, 25 October 2015, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider conducted a divine service in our central church in Buenos Aires in Argentina, in which he placed District Apostle Norberto Passuni into retirement. District Apostle Helper Enrique Eduardo Minio was ordained to succeed him as District Apostle for Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay.

God’s covenant then and now
God in His love made a covenant with man. In a divine service in Auckland recently, the Chief Apostle drew parallels between the people at the time of Moses and us today, and emphasized how important our faith in the sacrifice of Jesus and in His return is. He also addressed the importance of Holy Communion.

Almost nine million members in nearly 190 countries
The New Apostolic Church is active in almost all countries on all continents. Africa is home to the majority of members. Countries such as the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia top the list. At its recent conference in Johannesburg, the District Apostle Meeting made a slight adjustment to the worldwide membership figures.

The early death of a pioneer in Angola
“He was a young and deeply faithful man of God with vision,” District Apostle (ret.) Brinkmann describes his friend and companion, Sukami Landu Ronsard, the first Angolan Apostle. He died on 27 August 1989 at the age of 31 in an ambush by rebels. Thirty years ago to the day, Apostle Ronsard was ordained as an Apostle.
