They are on the move—people who have had to leave their homes. They are displaced, homeless people who are rarely welcomed anywhere, and unfortunately their lot is still a bitter reality for far too many. June 20 is designated as World Refugee Day.

In good years, the Chief Apostle travels to congregations all over the world. On account of the coronavirus pandemic, however, this was not possible in 2021. Most divine services therefore took place in Europe. Here is a chronology.

When we think of Christmas we often imagine a snowy wonderland, white-capped mountains, and frozen lakes. If not from personal experience, then from pop culture. However, given the global mood, this is a never-never land. Behind the façade, Christmas looks different.
