Düsseldorf. The four-day European Youth Day 2009 organised by the New Apostolic Church drew to a peaceful conclusion on Sunday, 24 May 2009 with a closing divine service in the LTU-Arena in Düsseldorf.

Düsseldorf. Some 46,000 people, most of them young people between the ages of 14 and 30, attended the concluding divine service of the European Youth Day 2009 sponsored by the New Apostolic Church. “What is the prime focus of your life? What is your top priority?” asked the international Church leader, Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber, as he addressed the large crowd assembled around him in the LTU-Arena. His four responses to this question were: to please the Lord, to serve the Lord, to serve as a blessing for others, and finally to participate in the day of Christ’s return.

Düsseldorf. “Come to my Jesus, here is my salvation! Come to my Jesus, glory to the Lord!” So reads the first line of the official song of the European Youth Day organised by theNew Apostolic Church. Sigi Hänger (36), a musician from the vicinity of Stuttgart, is the composer of the song. His piece, “Come to my Jesus”, garnered 31 percent of all votes submitted.

Zurich. The press conference on the New Apostolic Church's change in leadership took around an hour. The questions of the invited representatives from the media and other churches were numerous and very interesting.
