Divine services with the Chief Apostle, reports from various congregations, and a Bible story for children… community, the magazine of the New Apostolic Church, is published quarterly. On nac.today it is featured as a digital edition, and many countries print the magazine.

Not even the Pentecost divine service could take place as usual! For the Chief Apostle and many millions of our members, this year was yet another difficult period defined by a global pandemic.

In good years, the Chief Apostle travels to congregations all over the world. On account of the coronavirus pandemic, however, this was not possible in 2021. Most divine services therefore took place in Europe. Here is a chronology.

The sailing trip that Yvonne and Bob Vosse-Huisman from the congregation Sneeck-Sperkhem in the Netherlands embarked on in August 2019 was scheduled to take a year. They had prepared themselves for all kinds of eventualities, but not for the coronavirus pandemic.

Again the Chief Apostle was hardly able to travel in the first half of the year and could therefore ordain and retire only a few Apostles. Instead, he asked the District Apostles to perform these ministerial acts on his behalf. At the end of June 2021, 337 Apostles were active around the world.

The Chief Apostle’s trip to Zambia and the DR Congo has been cancelled. He will not be able to travel there. He is very disappointed, but what pains him the most is the disappointment of the brothers and sisters. He is well acquainted with the conditions of the members there.
