Doing the will of God: that is the objective of each and every believing Christian. Yet each and every one of us must make personal decisions for ourselves. This was something that Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider made clear recently in Tbilisi in Georgia: “God expects us to be mature children of God.”

Europe and Africa — two different continents, two different cultures. In Europe, the membership numbers of many churches are decreasing, and even New Apostolic congregations are being closed. But the Church is growing in other places.

It all began just a little over 50 years ago. On 1 August 1965 District Apostle Michael Kraus dedicated the New Apostolic church in Jeffrey Town in Jamaica. Years of growth followed and the Church spread throughout Jamaica.

For 55 years Klaus Michael Fruth has been composing music for the New Apostolic Church. To date he has created 297 compositions. That makes 5.4 compositions a year. Tomorrow, Klaus Michael Fruth, who is a German-language and math teacher, celebrates his 75th birthday.
