Working, deciding, and blessing together

Jürg Zbinden has been appointed a District Apostle Helper for the District Apostle Area Switzerland. Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider commissioned him on New Year’s Day to assist District Apostle Markus Fehlbaum.

The Chief Apostle appointed the 58-year old Apostle as District Apostle Helper in the New Year’s Day service in Bern (Switzerland). It is a beautiful task, the Chief Apostle said, but also a difficult one: to take people from different cultures and with various traditions and lead them on the way paved by Jesus into the kingdom of God. This is possible with the love of God and the Holy Spirit.

The District Apostle Area of Switzerland looks after New Apostolic Christians in Austria, Bulgaria, Cuba, the Czech Republic, Gibraltar, Hungary, Italy, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia, and Spain. The District Apostle and his assistant, Jürg Zbinden, are supported by seven Apostles and an additional 2,500 ministers. Altogether there are 500 congregations in these countries with nearly 60,000 members.
