Peter Schulte is the new District Apostle Helper for Australia. On Sunday, 24 September 2017 Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider ordained the 54-year-old District Elder as an Apostle and assigned him as a District Apostle Helper to assist District Apostle Andrew Andersen.
In his address the Chief Apostle mentioned five specific tasks: being an ambassador of Jesus Christ; going to people and inviting them, and showing them the way to God; being a living example; making sure that the congregations are provided for; supporting the District Apostle.
