Video of "Pentecost 2005": Chief Apostle changeover in Fellbach

Zurich. (or) District Apostle Wilhelm Leber has become the new chief apostle of the New Apostolic Church. For the first time ever, nak.org is featuring a video of the highlights from the Pentecost service in Fellbach near Stuttgart.

The New Apostolic Church International has a new chief apostle. Dr. Wilhelm Leber (57) has taken over the office of church president from Richard Fehr (65), who has held the position for the last 17 years. The hitherto District Apostle Leber is the president of the independent District Churches of Northern Germany and North Rhine-Westphalia.

In the festive divine service on Pentecost Sunday, 15 May 2005, Chief Apostle Fehr ordained his successor. Chief Apostle Leber subsequently relieved Richard Fehr of his ministerial duties and retired him, also addressing special thanks to the latter's wife Sonja.

The divine service was transmitted to 8,000 churches in 69 countries. The Pentecost event was translated into more than 20 languages and witnessed by some 1.5 million participants around the world.

In collaboration with www.jugend-online.info and the Friedrich Bischoff publishers, nak.org presents a summary of the events in the form of a video clip (to download, right-click one of the following):
