Snapshots (2): Set-up begins in the “Harmonie” hall

Preparations for the Pentecost divine service are in full swing. After a good year of planning there remains only a short window of time for this in the end—and there is a good reason.

Our New Apostolic members have barely a day to prepare the Congress Centre in Frankfurt am Main, Germany for the divine service on Pentecost Sunday. This is because the premises were still being occupied by a shareholder’s meeting of a German healthcare enterprise on the Friday before.

So it is that there is a great deal of hustle and bustle this Saturday in the large hall bearing the name “Harmonie”. Chairs to accommodate a seating capacity for around 2,000 people are being brought in and set up. The altar decorations are taking shape under expert hands. And the sound equipment, including the organ, is also being installed.

Also along for the party are some volunteer helpers and employees from the Bischoff Publishers’ transmission team. After all, the divine service with Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider will be transmitted throughout Europe on Sunday.
